Navigating Parenthood
A programme for University staff exploring evidence-informed insights into child development, behaviour, wellbeing and more.
Overview
This programme for parents is a series of online information sessions for parents and those with parenting responsibilities who are staff at the University. The programme brings together research informed perspectives on childhood, adolescence and family life, presented in ways that reflect different stages of development.
Sessions are organised into four pathways, so staff can explore information that aligns most closely with their children’s ages or needs:
- 0–4 years
- 5–11 years
- 12–16 years
- SEND (Special Educational Needs & Disabilities)
Each session lasts around 45–60 minutes and includes time at the end for questions and shared reflection. Session timings will be confirmed in advance.
