UCHP provides high quality play opportunities and care for children (ages 4-15 years) throughout the school holidays. Play is an essential part of a child's life. At UCHP, we believe that the role of a Playworker is to offer a wide range of play opportunities and enable children to be the masters of their own play.
Safeguarding children is paramount; all successful candidates will require two references. They will also need to be DBS checked, cleared, and have completed specific training before working at UCHP.
UCHP is open 8:15-17:45 during the school holidays (excluding Christmas and Bank Holidays) and is currently based at Trumpington Meadows Primary School. Successful candidates will join our team of bank Playworkers. The UCHP Management Team provides an induction programme along with regular training. We are ideally looking for Playworkers who can work 2-4 shifts per week during every school holiday that we are open. However, we will consider applications from those available in limited holidays.
We use a rolling recruitment programme for Casual Playworkers. You must be 17 years or older to apply.
