Playscheme is an inclusive place for children to play. Over the years, hundreds of children of many different abilities have spent time with us very successfully and happily.
If your child has any additional needs or has an EHCP, please contact us to discuss how we can provide extra support to make Playscheme a safe and enjoyable place for them. There are funding options available for some children through Cambridgeshire County Council which may support your child to attend:
Childcare Access Funding is intended to support children (aged 4 to 14+) with the very highest levels of needs at out of school hours childcare, including before and after school clubs, holiday schemes and care with childminders.
Please contact us if you feel you may be eligible for Childcare Access Funding.
If your child is in need of additional support during Playscheme, to ensure they are offered quality and continuity of care, Playscheme may only be able to accept booking requests made during the Ballot period (and not normally on-site). This is to ensure that we have the time to make the necessary provision for your child by employing an experienced member of support staff and applying for funding (if both child and family meet set criteria).
Children who are in need of additional support can book on site if the Playscheme Co-ordinator feels we can offer that child quality of care and have the necessary support systems in place.
